Jenny Homan is a Legal Assistant with over 19 years experience in the legal field.  Having worked extensively in all areas of the law, her knowledge is extremely comprehensive.  Here at HAELO, Jenny is our Public Benefits Coordinator. She has been with the firm since January of 2006.  Her main focus is collecting documentation, client interaction, determining when one is Medicaid eligible, and processing client files for long-term care benefits.

Jenny's parents met while attending SIU-C in the late 60's.  Upon their graduation from Southern Illinois University, her parents moved to Cape Girardeau where Jenny was born.  Jenny's parents then transferred to Northern Illinois and pursued respective careers there.  Before 2004, Jenny lived in the suburbs of Chicago.  Having a family farm in Johnson County, however, Jenny relocated to Southern Illinois in 2004 along with her husband and their son.  Jenny and her husband enjoy the many qualities of life that Southern Illinois offers.

Jenny currently lives on Lake of Egypt and enjoys outdoor recreational activities such as motorcycle riding, four-wheeling, swimming and boating.  In her spare time she enjoys scrap-booking.  She is family oriented and enjoys spending as much time with her family as possible.  She is very focused and detail oriented to our clients' special needs.  She takes great pride in working for the disabled and elderly within our community and overseeing each client's file so that their public/veteran's benefits and special needs goals are met throughout the remainder of their life.

Jenny has been a member of the Illinois Notary Association since 1990.
